Improvisational Embroidery
April 11-18, 2016
In this two week workshop that met Monday evenings, participants got their feet wet with traditional and non-traditional embroidery skills and techniques. Students were able to learn about the tools and cost effectiveness that come with learning about embroidery. After mastering some sample stitches, each student then found ways to connect those stitches through explorations of color and texture. Every student concluded the class with a sampler to take home, including the wooden hoop. All materials were worked into the workshop cost, making this class very affordable for all skill levels.
